The Thrift Store

Our Thrift Store provides the Mission with a needed financial resource, and many of the donated items are also used in our day to day operations, including household goods and clothing for our residents. The store also is a big part of our occupational training program through which the residents repair appliances, refinish furniture, and service equipment that is being sold in the store. The Thrift Store also serves as an outreach to our community, providing items to the needy and offering spiritual help.

Occupational Training

The Occupational Training Center is a big part of our daily routine and ongoing function at the Mission. Both men and women are assigned work projects to be accomplished as well as being involved with hands-on learning through specialized training sessions. Our aim is to empower, train, and equip our residents with useful, employable skills that will serve them well when they leave the Mission. Currently we are providing training in the following areas:

  • Appliance Repair

  • Auto Detailing

  • Auto Repair

  • Wood Working

Employment Programs
